Terri Stevens
President & Chairperson

Terri Stevens serves as President & Chairperson of Wilmington Specialty, an agency management and administrative service company operating under agreement with U.S Risk Insurance Group, LLC, a privately owned specialty lines underwriting manager and wholesale broker headquartered in Dallas, Texas.

As a part of her duties, Terri is responsible for all aspects of the management and oversight of program business including carriers, managing general agencies, wholesale, and retail independent agencies. Terri also serves as Senior Vice President of Wilmington Insurance Company providing management oversight of the Southern Division. Wilmington Insurance Company is a regional Property & Casualty Insurance Company which is currently writing in 10 states and is rated “A Exceptional” by Demotech.

Terri has over 33 years of progressive property and casualty insurance experience, specializing in start-up operations and carrier restructure and rehabilitation. Her background consists of experience working with national and regional carriers, MGA and TPA operations, offshore captives, and independent retail agencies.

Terri has proven leadership in building companies and successfully implementing corporate strategies. Her multiple disciplines include corporate governance and oversight, regulatory compliance, reinsurance placement, strategic planning, business development underwriting, risk management, claim and policy administration, and sales and marketing.

Terri has served as President and CEO of regional insurance carries in addition to being on the Board of Directors. She currently serves on the FWCIGA Board in the state of Florida. She is actively engaged in the insurance industry and has been a featured speaker at industry events and a guest writer in various publications and newsletters.

Terri is a graduate of John Carroll University and maintains a 200 License.
